Increase in child welfare workers could decrease heavy caseloads

Indiana has hired more than 800 child welfare workers since 2005 to lessen the caseloads of employees. The state says it will meet national standards by this summer. Reported child deaths due to abuse were down from the previous year.

Workers in FL closing abuse cases early
